I’ve been a staunch admirer of @mindysmithmusic since I first heard her two decades ago, and very excited she’s just released her first new studio album in a dozen years, “Quiet Town.” It’s characteristically beautiful—check it out.
Hey @jaketapper: You said if your job depended on you riding a bicycle and your approval rating was dropping, you’d get on a bike and ride. How about asking “What does riding a bike have to do with reporting the news?” What part of governing a nation depends on debating on TV?
Caught up this week with the thoroughly rewarding documentary “@WilliamShatner: You Can Call Me Bill.” A lot of camp fun and classic TV/movie clips, for sure, but also deeply
profound at times. Worth seeing while it’s still in theaters. https://t.co/aeGKsKKQIi
@AnaGasteyer Greetings Ana! Randy Lewis, LA Times (now retired) here. I’m in NYC for a couple of days, see you have a show tonight so I’m coming down. Looking forward to it! Maybe say hello? 😊😊
What mischief do these fairies have in store 👀🤔 find out when performances return tomorrow night! And don't forget to bring your dancin' shoes. Our house band - made up of fairies and mortals alike - rocks out with a nightly intermission dance party!

@jarthur47 Mine was one. Canceled after 50+ years as a subscriber on the 1-2 punch of destruction of sports + 25% subscription price increase. Zero effort or incentive to keep me on board. Not even a pop-up “Are you sure?” Pretty sad. @latimes seems to place no value on subscriber loyalty.
Could not agree more. John once said he’s didn’t go in much for awards, but that he hoped to make the @RockHall of Fame because it would place him there with his dear friend, @sunrecords founder #SamPhillips. Let’s give John his wish.
In our outrage that Sinead O'Connor and Gram Parsons aren't in the Rock Hall of Fame, it reminds me of another horrible omission: JOHN PRINE. I fell so in love with John's first album that I listened to it five times in a row. and the songs still stick with me. #johnprine
Catch it if you can L.A theater-goers: @IndyShakes’ chillingly topical production of “Julius Caesar” running through Sunday July 30 in Griffith Park. Terrific cast from top to bottom. #IndyShakes#ShakespeareSetFree
