I think that we disagree on what we believe the threat is. I think a mounting power in Iran (nuclear and otherwise) is the threat. You believe that imminent attacks on the USA are the only just threat. I agree that the imminence may not be there but the mounting power was always there. And now is deflated and revealed.

I'm one. I knew there was a medium chance that this could go on for a while. Since Iran is literally the source of middle east instability by way of piracy, terrorism and attacking Israel I still think that it was a great call to attack Iran. The open conflict revealed their weakness and united their regional rivals in alliance with the USA.

The Odyssey was very good. It’s a movie about a man’s hero’s journey, told by a manly director, primarily for men. It’s epic and lyrical and should win every academy award. Except audio for some reason. Nolan still prefers garbled dialogue. But excellent film.

@PaulAnleitner I'm still waiting for the lessons of Ted Lasso to be learned: People want an uplifting hero to root for. People want hopeful stories and good-hearted characters. That doesn't mean bad story telling but Hollywood doesn't agree and simply won't quit their doom cult antiheroes.
