This always confuses me. If people work hard earn and save in whatever economic reality their country provides, they can raise their standard of living however, there is no way to raise everyone’s standard of living to a western economic reality. So the fact that these statistics exist, doesn’t describe their happiness factor and how they live. If you zoom out and look at how many human beings are living a quality of life beyond poverty compared to 100 years ago, it’s astounding what we’ve created for humanity. This statistic makes it sound like we’ve done something wrong. Remember socialism does not work proven time and time again because eventually you run out of other peoples money.
