I have strong feelings about “Breakfast Balls” on the 1st Tee and I wish the @USGA would implement an official rule for “Club Play.”

If a player utilizes a driving range prior to teeing off, then “Breakfast Balls” are strictly prohibited.

If you’re a trunk slammer, the “Breakfast Ball” is yours to enjoy. 🤷🏼‍♂️

They would save ~7.2 strokes if they made every putt between 10 and 20 feet.

They would save ~13.8 strokes if they hit every drive 350.

They would save ~8.8 strokes if they hit every drive 350.

For the driver I assumed no par 4 was short enough where they could drive the green (closest they could get was 10 yards to the hole, but never on the putting green, always in the fairway), they only hit driver on par 4s and par 5s, and every par 4 and par 5 allowed you to hit the maximum 350 yards.

Andrew Fleisher was registered as a 15.0 handicap index leading into a @FirstTee Connecticut event at The CC of Fairfield. His 74 (NET 60) helped his team claim both the GROSS and NET division titles.

Sadly, there is not an Andrew Fleisher registered in the GHIN database.

Coincidentally, there is one Andrew Fleischer in the entire database. Fleischer, not Fleisher, is an 8.6 handicap index that was previously registered under the eClub of Connecticut.
