Select AP Art History students were chosen to serve as curators for the Dallas ISD Youth Art Month exhibition. They had studied a range of museum roles through their work with The Warehouse in Dallas & helped ensure that the artwork from across Dallas ISD was shown respectably.

Ms. Reeder's Anatomy class is dissecting a pig's heart today. When Ms. Aimes's 6th grade class stopped by, the Juniors showed them how they put their finger in a blood vessel to see where it comes out in order to identify the vessel and the chamber. @dallasschools@Rojas_YWLS

Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of students, Dallas ISD will remain closed, Thursday, Jan. 29.
Two 6th graders, Zuri G. and Elizabeth G. participated in the Oncor Kids Race. This race is in its 22nd year & has over 6,000 participants! It started as a DISD initiative to engage kids in a health & fitness activity. Thanks, Ms. Green, for supporting our youth! @dallasschools
Our MS Theatre Performance class competed in the DISD Pre-UIL One-Act Play Contest and won big! They were awarded a Division 1 “Superior” ranking & first place "Best of Festival". Also, they earned 8 individual acting & technical theatre awards. Congratulations!🎉 @dallasschools
