People always ask, what is the Marist Randy Moller Goal Call Initiative? Suggest a pop culture reference of any kind and you'll forward $1 to Hodgkin's lymphoma research, AND get your call on our air! Want an idea of which we use? See for yourself... @HeyRedDeer
By earning 3 points tonight, Mast leapfrogged his way into the Top 25 in career scoring, tying Jordan Plante ‘04 with 70- officially T-23rd all time. It’s been a remarkable tenure for G.
Garrett Mast got to double digit goals for the first time in his career by scoring twice tonight. It should be noted that he had a shorthanded 2-on-0 and had a shot at the hat trick, but elected to pass to Bryce Gomez for the sure goal. An incredibly selfless play.
Not the prettiest of firsts but the Foxes lead 1-0 courtesy of a PPG from Harry Bahrenburg. Zack Rogers with a flurry of terrific saves, because Zack Rogers. #Mockey
It’s Game Day! To end our seniors is 3 yr. returner & forward, #14 Captain Ian Olson. Ian’s an essential member and you don’t want to mess with him because even though he always has the biggest smile, he’s going to be a field artillery officer. Make sure to come out today @ 4:15!
SACRED HEART JUST TOOK THE 3 SCUMMIEST PENALTIES IVE EVER SEEN. BLATANT CHARGING, THEIR GOALIE SPEARED A GUY, AND ONE OF THEIR PLAYERS BECAME AN ABSOLUTE PSYCHO AFTER THE WHISTLE. THATS AN EMBARRASSMENT! 5on3 1 MINUTE LEFT!
CCSU-2 SHU-1
There are just 5 days until our Senior Day Game! To start off our seniors is #9 Seamus O’Rourke. Seamus has been apart of the team for two years. This year he had 4 goals and 8 assists. Make sure to come out at 4:15 on Saturday to see Seamus and the rest of the guys play CCSU!!
Extremely grateful for the enthusiasm and support at the third annual @MaristHockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony. So humbled that this idea continues to grow and evolve. Thank you @Marist! 🦊🏒
Marist Hockey games are back in action starting this Saturday!!! Not only do we have our game versus Montclair at 4:15pm, it is also Alumni Day! Make sure to come out and support your favorite Red Foxes 🦊🏒
I don’t purport to be the authority on how to do things, but as someone who does this for a living, I think I’m marginally qualified to give tips to younger broadcasters breaking in when I notice something especially wrong. So here’s some Do’s and Don’t’s for you kids out there!
It’s always cool to see teams with dedicated broadcast teams, it’s something I wish was more common in the ACHA and SECHL. But please remember to be professional and kind to others, the job is much more fun that way.

DON’T!
-Yell at/taunt opposing fans sitting near you while on-air. Or off, really.
-Interrupt the opposing team’s broadcast during play. Respect their work.
DO!
-Be mindful of others’ space, especially in a visiting barn.
-Thank people who help you. Courtesy goes a long way.
