It’s different this time.
I’ve heard of Jew hate throughout the years, people making jokes about Jews, the k-word.
It’s different this time.
I’ve experienced the “fuck you Jew” and “fucking Jew”.
It’s different this time.
I remember the comments about Jews owning the media and running the banks.
It’s different this time.
Or the jabs about killing Jesus and other blood libels.
Part of me misses those days.
Because it’s different this time.
Never in the past 80 years have people felt comfortable calling for Jews to be banned and excluded.
Never in the past 80 years have people felt emboldened to publicly call for the death of Jews.
Never in the past 80 years have people felt safe enough to tell people that they were going to kill Jews.
Never in the past 80 years has our society been ok with it.
The people who hate us haven’t changed.
It’s everybody else who are now Ok with that hate, that have changed.
Jew hate has always been there and always will be.
That’s not what the danger to Jews is.
It’s the normalization and acceptance of that Jew hate that’s dangerous.
And that’s what your silence is doing.
Gaza Ministry of Health has now released mortality numbers for 2025. For the first time since the war, they give numbers for all deaths, including natural deaths.
In 2025 there were a total of 24,650 deaths in Gaza. 18,870 (76.6%) of these were violent, of which 17,286 (70.1%) were due to "war operations" and 1,584 (6.4%) were classified as accidents. There were a total of 5,780 (23.4%) non-violent deaths, including disease, old age, and all other causes.
5,780 deaths is about the same as the annual non-violent mortality in Gaza before the war, and the age distribution is similar to 2022. There is no significant excess of non-violent deaths.
In other words, despite frequent and loud claims to the contrary, there seems to be very few indirect deaths due to the war in Gaza in 2025.
As there were 50,227 births in 2025, this gives a natural population growth of 25,577 or 1.2% in Gaza in 2025, which is higher population growth than most countries in the world and more than the world average.
There are currently ~6,000 births/month in Gaza, per GMH. Assuming a similar number of non-violent deaths in Gaza in 2026 as in 2025, that means there are currently 12x more births than deaths in Gaza, and that Gaza is now experiencing one of the highest population growths in the world.
@yuenpauwoo@AnitaAnandMP@CanadaFP Hopefully never you antisemite. You have zero understanding of the Jewish people and the Middle East yet you think you are the authority. Laughable.
Genocide:
Rwanda ‘94, 1 million killed.
Cambodia,’75-‘79, Communists kill 2 million.
1915-16, Islamic Young Turks kill 1.5 Armenian Christians.
Nazis 39-46,kill 6 million Jews
Gaza? 70 k dead. Mostly Hamas but also citizens Hamas use as human shields.
Sad, but not genocide
If you are among those who have been duped into using Hamas language, referring to the war in Gaza as a genocide, you need to stop being gullible. And stop insulting the memory of the millions of men, women and children mentioned above who truly faced horrific, ethnic, deliberate slaughter, rape and torture.
And in the same breath, could you at least mention that the IDF during this Gaza war period has shipped in over 1 million vaccines to be used by all Gazans and over 2,000,000 tons of food? ( by the way, even the completely inept UN has reported that much of those shipments of food were intercepted, stolen by Hamas and used for their own purposes or resold.)
George Galloway posted this photo today with the caption "What if this was your Dad? #Gaza."
This man is not in Gaza and he is not Palestinian. He is Syrian, like me.
His name is Mohammed Mohiedin Anis, known as Abu Omar. AFP photographer Joseph Eid took this photo in March 2017, in the ruins of Abu Omar's bedroom in al-Shaar, eastern Aleppo, the neighborhood devastated in the regime's 2016 offensive to retake the city. Abu Omar was a collector of antiques and vintage cars. The war took his home and most of his collection. He came back anyway, sat on his bed in the rubble, lit his pipe and played a record. The whole world knew this picture as the face of Aleppo's destruction.
And Galloway knows exactly who destroyed Aleppo, because he was on their payroll.
In 2012, Galloway began hosting a show on Al Mayadeen, the Beirut channel that has never disclosed its backers and is widely seen as the voice of Iran's "Axis of Resistance." He was reportedly paid around £3,000 an episode. He also presented on Iran's state channel Press TV, and spent nearly a decade on Putin's RT.
The Axis: the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah, the Iraqi militias, the Houthis and, until December 2024, the Assad regime. For over 13 years after the 2011 uprising, Assad survived only because the IRGC, Hezbollah and Russia fought his war for him. When the regime finally collapsed, he fled to Moscow and was granted "humanitarian" asylum. The same humanity he denied every Syrian he bombed.
Who doesn't remember the barrel bombs on bakeries and markets? The sarin in Ghouta and Khan Sheikhoun? The chlorine in Douma?
Galloway remembers. On his show he called Assad "the last bastion of Arab dignity." When Assad gassed Douma in 2018, Galloway pushed the "staged attack" conspiracy, even though the OPCW confirmed chlorine was used.
None of this is new. This is the man who stood before Saddam Hussein in 1994 and saluted his "courage" and "indefatigability." He was suspended from the House of Commons after an inquiry found strong circumstantial evidence that Saddam's regime, with his connivance, used the Oil-for-Food program, meant to feed starving Iraqi children, to fund his Mariam Appeal campaign.
In 2014 he declared Bradford an "Israel-free zone": no Israeli goods, no Israeli academics, not even Israeli tourists. Police logged it as a hate incident.
Last year he flew to Tehran to accept an award named after Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, called him a "martyr," and boasted that his most treasured possession is Haniyeh's personal passport. Then he flew straight to Moscow to applaud Putin's Victory Day parade.
Today, the self-proclaimed anti-imperialist lives in what he calls "exile," broadcasting from Russia and China, lecturing the West about freedom.
This is not an honest mistake. It is the method of Galloway and his camp, and it is what they mean by "by any means necessary." When the truth doesn't serve the cause, you invent a new one. A Syrian father, ruined by Assad and his Iranian and Russian patrons, becomes a Gazan victim of Israel. The real killers get erased, and the propagandist who defended them on their payroll gets applause from a Western audience that never bothers to check.
Syrians remember who bombed Aleppo. They remember who went on TV to defend it.
Abu Omar is not your propaganda, shameless George.
@georgegalloway
@piersmorgan@zephon013 Shame that Google Earth couldn’t penetrate underground to the Hamas tunnels deliberately built under Gaza for 20 years so they could initiate war and hold the hostages in them.
That’s why Gaza looks like it does.
@piersmorgan And just think this all could have stopped with just one phone call from Hamas; releasing hostages; recognizing Israel; laying down arms.
And this is tunnels being destroyed and you know that Performative Piers.
Never gain means never again.

🚨 ENOUGH WITH THE GENOCIDE ACCUSATIONS.
More than 6,000 scholars, historians, legal experts, and public figures have signed an open letter rejecting the claim that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza—including Steven Pinker, Niall Ferguson, Benny Morris, Deborah Lipstadt, John Spencer, Irwin Cotler, and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Calling Israel’s war against Hamas “genocide” is a deeply contested characterization that many experts argue distorts the facts and weaponizes the term.
We can debate Israel’s military actions and civilian suffering without misrepresenting what “genocide” means under international law.
🇮🇱 Stand with Israel. Stand against Hamas. Stand for truth.

Unlike @AbdulElSayed, I’m an Arab who is actually from Israel. My family lived through the establishment of the state of Israel and what he calls the “Nakba.” The Holocaust was nothing like the events of the “Nakba” where my grandfather was told to flee by Arab leaders (not Jews) so the Arabs could “defeat the Jews.” He refused, and all the Arab residents who stayed were given citizenship. Those who fled, a large number by choice, were not permitted to return, as often happens in war. That is a catastrophe, a “nakba” of their own making. But there was no choice in the Holocaust, there was no citizenship for those who stayed. You are intentionally comparing a war and a genocide. They are not the same.
Your vile attempt to co-opt the largest massacre of the Jewish people in history, the systematic murder of six million people simply because they were Jews, for your own dystopian pro-terror Muslim Brotherhood agenda is despicable. I see through you Abdul. You may be able to fool Western Americans with your garbage, but we know who you really are.
