Thomas Tuchel was loving Declan Rice's England commitment ❤️:
🗣️ "Yeah, he just turned up. I liked it a lot.
It was good that he was there. He had, I think, a long journey, a long travel to the stadium and brought his son, so that was nice to see.
He loves to be part of this team. He’s one of our key players and, of course, we miss him. But it was nice that he showed his support, showed his face, and I think it’s good."

With the game still 0-0, Zidane makes a few changes:
77' | Cherki comes on 🔄
77' | Olise comes on 🔄
88' | Cherki assists 🅰️, Olise scores ⚽
Zidane's crazy reaction after the goal, booting the ball away, says it all 😂
2 games, 2 wins. Zinédine Zidane has arrived at France 😎🇫🇷
Manchester United only escaped PSR breach for 2023/24 because the Premier League handed them a £40m Covid Allowance from 2021/22. Double the combined claim of the other 19 clubs.
UEFA said no. The Premier League said “don’t worry lads”. Then they lecture Manchester City about rules.
Manchester City chief executive Ferran Soriano has issued a "𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭" message to other club executives about the club being found guilty of a majority of Premier League charges, BBC Sport has been told.
He was speaking at a board meeting of European Football Clubs (formerly the ECA) in Copenhagen before its general assembly on Tuesday.
Soriano was said to have vowed to fight the charges and the process had a long way to run, reiterating what City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said in a letter to fans on Saturday.
🗣️ Khaldoon Al Mubarak on Manchester City in June 2026:
“We’re far from peaked. This is a Club designed, built to win. We’re used to it, because it’s in our DNA. I look at where the Club was in 2008, then at every part of these last 18 years…how many different generations of teams we’ve collectively put together, each one special.”
#ManCity were first informed that they had been found guilty of more than 100 breaches of the Premier League's financial rules in the summer, before spending heavily in the transfer market.
The deal for Elliot Anderson was agreed before City had knowledge that the independent panel had reached its verdict. A deal for his signing was agreed on July 2 before he officially signed on July 23.

🚨 Rummenigge: “Am I surprised to see Flo Wirtz struggling at Liverpool? Yes. We were given the impression that he chose Liverpool because Slot promised him the #10 position…”.
“That was an important factor in his decision to join Liverpool. There were no big differences financially. He made his decision, and we accepted it”, told AZ.
