Too much democracy in Punjab? Now even speaking against drugs and murder is a problem?
I have received an email from X (Twitter) regarding an official notice issued by Punjab Police
I am honestly shocked, All I did was raise my voice against drugs and the killing of an anti-drug activist in Punjab
On 13 October, anti-drug activist Parminder Singh Jhota was shot de*d in broad daylight in Mansa, Punjab
He was fighting against the drug problem that is destroying Punjab's youth and the future of thousands of families, He was questioning the alleged sale of Chitta (heroin) at a medical store when the shooting happened, The horrifying incident was captured during a Facebook Live video
A man who was raising his voice against drugs lost his life
I posted a simple tweet saying:
"Save Punjab from Drugs"
I expressed my shock that anti-drug activists were being shot at while exposing the alleged sale of drugs
And now that same tweet is included in an official Punjab Police notice sent to X
The notice, dated 14 October 2026, mentions Section 79(3)(b) of the Information Technology Act and Rule 3(1)(d) of the IT Rules, 2021
According to the notice, videos and posts about this incident could create public anger, disturb law and order, and lead to further violence
I understand that violence and public disorder must be prevented
But raising awareness about a murder and Punjab's drug problem also a threat to law and order?
An anti-drug activist was shot dead in broad daylight, His family lost a loved one, People across Punjab are demanding justice
And now people who are speaking about this incident on social media are finding their posts listed in police notices?
What kind of message does this send to ordinary citizens?
If someone sees something wrong happening in Punjab, should they remain silent?
If someone raises their voice against drugs, should they be afraid?
If someone questions law and order after a murder, should their social media post become a problem?
@arvindkejriwal ji, do you know what is happening in Punjab?
Your government talks about making Punjab drug-free, But when citizens raise their voices against drugs, why are their posts being included in police notices?
Shouldn't the priority be protecting people who fight against drugs, stopping illegal drug sales and ensuring justice for the victim's family?
I am not supporting violence, I am not asking anyone to take the law into their own hands
I am simply asking for justice, accountability, and the freedom to speak about serious issues affecting our society
Punjab's young generation deserves a future free from drugs, Parents deserve to know their children are safe And citizens deserve the freedom to question those in power
You cannot solve Punjab's drug problem by discouraging people from talking about it
I request Punjab Police and the Punjab Government to explain why my post was included in this notice
My voice against drugs is not a threat to Punjab
Drugs, murder, and the fear of speaking out are the real threats
This is urgent guys

Neha Suri was a drug inspector who was shot dead in broad daylight at her office in Kharar on March 29, 2019.
Her father is an army officer. Her mother delivered an emotional speech today !!
Caught red-handed! The so-called "independent reporters" shouting slogans at CJP protests and heckling police have been COMPLETELY UNMASKED. 🔥
FACT-CHECKER Vishal Maheshwari’s investigation reveals:

Activism on camera, paid political PR in the inbox. SHAMELESS HYPOCRISY.
I’m in Gujarat since the past 48 hours and trust me nobody even uttered a word about Protest or those people.
It’s all just on Social Media. Even the GenZs here are busy planning their Navratri outfit cos why not. Loving this environment.
BIG EXPOSE:
Congress has 5000 paid content creators to spread fake propaganda.
More seriously, Apar Gupta from IFF is helping Congress when the government takes corrective action against fake news.
IFF doesn't check whether those content creators spread fake news.
IFF claims that they are neutral, but look how coordinated they are working with Congress.
Statement from Reliance Industries
In light of recent remarks about Reliance and the Indian market, we wish to place the facts on record.
Like every Indian enterprise, Reliance has grown in an India that welcomes investment and innovation, homegrown or international, that improve the lives of the people.
That openness rests on the rule of law. As the Government of India has stated, it applies the same process to every applicant, Indian or foreign. Jio's own satellite services await clearances.
At Reliance, we have never feared competition. We see it as the truest test of who serves the customer best. Jio itself entered India's crowded telecom market in 2016 as the newest player, with not a single customer. In just ten years, Jio has earned the trust of over 530 million customers and given Indians some of the best digital infrastructure and most affordable data in the world.
We welcome competition in satellite communications, including Starlink. Every player, Jio included, must serve the people of India and abide by the laws and policies of the land.
Indira Jaising’s mask slipped in the Supreme Court.
When Gaurav Bhatia cited the ANI report of a 3-month pregnant journalist pushed by Rahul Gandhi inside the Supreme Court premises, she called it “politics.”
Journalist safety only matters when it doesn’t touch the Rahul Gandhi? Classic selective outrage.
CJI Surya Kant didn’t hold back today. Told Rahul Gandhi’s side straight… nobody can browbeat the judiciary. SC has asked Raga to explain his conduct after that whole chamcha march to the court.
Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi were there fighting his case, and still the court basically said “we’re not sitting in an ivory tower, we know what’s happening outside.”
The usual drama of marching to the Supreme Court to pressure it has now come with a notice and a demand for explanation. Judiciary made it clear it won’t be intimidated.
We know everything what's going outside the court - CJI
Good thing if they fo... They need to be little strict.... some people are forgetting that there's a rule of law in the country...

Nalasopara, MH: A Hindu woman was lured and sexually exploited by Muslim gym trainer Arif Ayub Shaikh under the false promise of marriage. He also pressured her to convert to Islam, wear a burqa and eat meat. She later discovered intimate videos of multiple women on his phone.
A 22-year-old gym trainer, Arif Ayub Shaikh, has been arrested in Nalasopara after police uncovered obscene videos of multiple women, and a woman accused him of coercion and forced conversion.
Reports of 70–80 women being targeted and videos being sold online are still under investigation.
The case raises serious concerns about women’s safety, digital exploitation and the need for a thorough, evidence-based investigation.
