This is ahistorical, simplistic, and racist. Most countries are multicultural even if there is a somewhat homogeneous national culture. Also, the roots of American culture are not just the Anglo. Many other cultures have been here from the start despite efforts to erase them.
For a country to survive, there has to be a common culture.
Nobody dies to defend a “multicultural economic zone”!
American culture, with its English-Scotts-Irish origin, is great and worth fighting for.
Some may not realize it, but that’s why people come here.

Hello!
I'm recruiting participants for my dissertation study. If you are a K-12 educator with an affinity for video games, please consider participating in my study. If you know a teacher who loves games, please share my flyer!

Just finished my presentation titled @AOC is Among Us: Learning to be Gamer, or an Impostor, in a Gaming Community of Practice at #AERA2025!
Thank you to the other panelists and everyone who attended!
@m9836785 @Andrefor40th If your interest is serious, I’m sure you can find research that correlates planning time to instructional outcomes. However, if you’ve ever been an educator, this does not require any research. You know that teaching takes planning. Giving teachers more time to plan is a must.
@susanamendoza10@susanamendoza10 have you seen the video? Do you think it’s ok for the police to pull a gun on civilians just because they decide that they do not want to open their door or roll down their windows? Did he have the right to a lawyer before talking to police?
DEI only existed because white people were racist. They had the opportunity to hire based on merit, and they hired their unqualified white friends every time.
DEI isn’t racism. It’s a solution to historical racism.
@paschutz@jacksonpCTU How is pro-Israel expression being repressed? Have you already forgotten about all the repression that happened (and is still happening) against pro-Palestine student movements? Can you show examples of Pro-Israel expressions being repressed by the state?
@newithyang @KirstinRoberts1 @CTULocal1 Have you ever worked at a school? Have you ever worked with children? Why do you think educators end up having to be “lifesavers or world changers”? Do you think the state provides adequate supports to students and families in a way that allows CPS focus solely on academics?

@deberry2040 10 sick days while working with children is nothing. Kids come to school sick all the time. Since schools are not properly funded, there’s barely any nurses in them to help with this.
Most people who comment about teachers working conditions would not last a week on the job.
@DeAngelisCorey@CTULocal1 You showed part of a speech and quoted a segment of it with an analysis that doesn’t consider its context or meaning.
Anyone with half a brain, understands that she means that they care about the children. Can you at least be less mediocre with your misinformation tactics?
