@peekaboo_jen Well said. I feel exactly the same way. Kind of jilted & duped actually. I really thought it would air in April or May esp since Starz is advertising like crazy right now. It’s put me in a funk. Nov? 🙄 I still really can’t believe it. OL is just such a positive force
@Writer_DG I loved it! Love how it is following Echo, mostly. Rachel is spot on! I do miss J&C—they are the bedrock of the story. But 705–well written & acted!
Loved scene by the river with Young Ian too!!
@displaceintime Will probably be great!! And I love her blonde hair…but still difficult to see her with anyone else. I will work on it!! 🤪 She deserves a fantastic career.
@TinyTunney I just felt it was a bit off. Maybe more conversation. Idk. It was a great depiction of them both being distracted—which is common in real marriage!
@Writer_DG I watched 701 late Friday night after an emotionally exhausting day & was disappointed. Was in a funk all weekend. Rewatched this afternoon with a bowl of popcorn. Much better!! Loved, “I’m also a violent man.” So Jamie—but only violent for family or freedom. Thx DG!!🏴
@cousinsfarm@Writer_DG Am I the only one who was left a little flat by season 7 premier? I LOVE the books so much and all of seasons 1-6. Literally have had a huge impact on my life…the talent is awe-inspiring. But this ep lacked something for me. Idk why. Can’t put my finger on it.
@Writer_DG Hope your Easter was a treasured one! I’m recovering fr Covid & listening to Outlander music…Checked Twitter & there it was! Like a gift for all of us!! I just sat in the sun & savored each sentence. I’ve a degree in English & have never read anything like your books. Ever🏴
@LaughOutLander@Writer_DG@Outlander_STARZ Devoured all 8 books. BEES came out on our 25th wedding anniversary! My husband is my king of men & your work helped us get there!!! Lots of ups & downs but DG got us thru. Helped me love him more. So THANK YOU! 💜
@LaughOutLander@Writer_DG@Outlander_STARZ Continuation…I’m an English teacher & our school was out for ice-found Outlander on Netflix at friend’s rec, “hot as hell and lots of history,” 2 of my favorite things! Rushed to library & read as I read watched which was thrilling! Even did a writing lesson from DG interview
@LaughOutLander@Writer_DG@Outlander_STARZ Such sweet stories! I had premature twins 20 years ago & they are big healthy boys now! They looked like your son in the NICU! I can believe the girl who said her OB took Outlander away on bedrest! I too was on bedrest for BP and early labor. Flash forward to Pandemic…
