Discussions in whatsapp groups of some IAPians about defamation case against me. May be true may not be true.
Majority of the IAPians are supporting the cause(that misleading branding, marketing, labelling, and/or positioing in the pharmacies of electrolyte drinks/energy drinks as the life saving WHO recommended formulaORS shouldn't be allowed, and that IAP shouldn't take funds from these companies for PEDICON or NRP), and thus me, at the ground level, but unfortunately they are neither the president, nor the treasurer, nor the EB members. I have always called out the leadership for
1. Being indifferent to the cause since years inspite of the emails sent, messages sent, and calls made.
2. For allowing funds from these companies for PEDICON and displaying their products
3. For the recent position paper emphasizing on the safety of Sucralose
4. For not condemning the notice issued by Kenvue to suppress a voice fighting for Public health
5. For not condemning the public notice by Kenvue that its
'scientific' products have been presented in PEDICON
I have maintained that IAP is a great organization but the leadership is bowing down to the companies called Johnson&Johnson Pte Ltd and Kenvue.
Anyway, you all understand what's happening.
I request you all to sign the petition so that we are able to share it with the Government. It may work or it may not work, but we need to try.

If each of you make your family sign the petition and share with your friends asking them to do the same, you can become a part of this great mission to ensure no company cheats parents once again in the name of ORS. Think about the poor ignorant parents atleast! Please! 5 MINS OF YOUR TIME FOR THIS PLS, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE ANYTHING, BUT YOU MAY SAVE A CHILD'S LIFE.
You can see from the 2nd and 3rd videos, how eRZL is being given when the parent asked for ORS. In the 4th video you can see how eRZL is being marketed as ORSL's new version.

The Great Indian Education Scam exposed!
Indian schools have become a billing machine. Schools today focus less on education and more on extortion!
You need to pay “donations” just to get admitted to schools. School textbooks are charging 10,000+ per year. Uniforms, books, shoes can be bought from fixed shops because schools take commissions.
The biggest irony is that these school make so much "profit" but are still classified in the non-profit category.
We need an Education system which has:
1. Transparent fee structures
2. A maximum limit on fees
3. Affordable Books & Uniform
4. Freedom to buy books from any seller
It is time for parents to raise questions! Share this video so it reaches every parent, teacher & government education authority!
Sent in my resignation to the IAP membership as it's becoming too suffocating to stay there, with the leadership worrying more about the funds from Kenvue than the safety of children. No condemnation of the notice issued to me. No condemnation of the public statement made by Kenvue that they presented their hydration portfolio in PEDICON. Giving a position statement on ORS and electrolyte drinks after the notice was sent to me. Emphasizing on Sucralose (clearly showing conflict of interest) that it's safe, without even warning the parents about the potential dangers with long term usage...... disturbance of gut microbiome, diabetes, and related complications like heart attack.
What is the need to even talk about Sucralose in a position statement on ORS and electrolyte drinks. So much ambiguity in the statement. It's basically a script to validate eRZL selling its Sucralose containing drink as a daily hydration drink for children.

Dear @jnjhealthequity
Dear @kenvue
Enough is enough. Stop harassing @dr_sivaranjani in the name of a legal case.
If ORSL and ERZL were not medical products, why are they being sold through medical stores? Why create a situation where people can easily misunderstand what they are buying?
And hello @MoHFW_INDIA, are you blind? Just watching a drama.
Keep in mind, if people decide to stand against you, you will be defeated like never before.
It’s better you remove those products from medical stores. Put them in museums if you want, we don’t care.
I am Dr. Sivaranjani, a pediatrician , raising concerns about how ERZL is being marketed and positioned in pharmacies, and the risk it creates for consumers making critical decisions during dehydration.
This issue is not about whether ERZL is safe in isolation. It is about how it is presented, perceived, and potentially misunderstood in real-world settings.
ERZL is a commercially marketed electrolyte drink. However, its branding and advertising raise serious concerns.
*It should not be using ORSL in its communication.*
Why?
Because:
* ORSL itself is not the original medically recommended ORS
* Referencing ORSL in any form creates brand recall in the minds of consumers
* Instead of reducing confusion, it continues and reinforces it
When ERZL is positioned as a continuation or replacement of ORSL, it keeps that same association alive — especially among parents who may already believe ORSL was equivalent to ORS.
👉 This defeats the very purpose of regulatory action.
In pharmacy settings:
* People are often making quick decisions under stress
* They rely on familiar names and visual cues
* Branding can directly influence what they choose
If ERZL continues to build on ORSL recall, it risks being perceived as a medical solution for dehydration, even when it is not the same as ORS (the medically recommended solution).
There are also concerns around ingredients like sucralose, especially in children and with prolonged use, based on global health guidance.
This makes clear communication even more important.
After raising these concerns, I have received a legal notice from Johnson & Johnson and Kenvue.
This petition is not about conflict.
It is about:
* Clarity in healthcare communication
* Preventing consumer confusion
* Ensuring responsible branding and advertising
* Allowing doctors to raise public health concerns without hesitation
We urge the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to:
1 *. Ensure that, since ERZL closely resembles ORSL, Kenvue is directed to rebrand it in a way that does not create recall or association with ORSL.*
2. Prevent misleading positioning that may confuse consumers
3. Strengthen enforcement at the pharmacy level
4. Ensure clear differentiation from medically recommended ORS
5. Protect healthcare professionals raising genuine concerns
In healthcare, even small confusion can have big consequences. Clear choices save lives.

@IndiGo6E@IndiGo6E we spoke to people named Kalyan, Lijo Jose, Ibrahim & Richard - surprisingly people changing shifts leaving us unanswered with every individual providing a different solution
Having the worst experience with @IndiGo6E
Had a flight to Port Blair fro Hyderabad today morning at 06:35AM. After being postponed 3 times, the airlines has cancelled the flight citing runway restrictions (That the Port Blair runway is closed). 1/n
@IndiGo6E@IndiGo6E@DGCAIndia@RGIAHyd@consumr_rights we haven’t seen any constructive response/alternative option from team. This is definitely well within the control of your airline, plz validate how other airlines like @airindia @airvistara & @flyspicejet operated to & from Portblair
@IndiGo6E@Spicejet@airindia @airvistara And now another @IndiGo6E manager is revealing the actual reason that they have diverted the flight and donot have a carrier or crew ready to take off now. And they kept lying blatantly to the passengers this while. This is unacceptable and demands strict action from @DGCAIndia
@IndiGo6E@Spicejet@airindia @airvistara which had taken off from other airports have now landed/about to land in 30min at Port Blair. @IndiGo6E has given up their responsibility putting the cost on the passengers (including the trip expenses of resorts, agents, ferry & vehicles, not to mention their lost holiday) 5/n
