Here are some FACTS James:

- In 2020 the RNC did NOT Hold Debates When Trump ran for re-election

- In 2012 the DNC did NOT Hold Debates When Obama ran for re-election

- In 2004 the RNC did NOT Hold Debates When Bush ran for re-election

- In 1996 the DNC did NOT Hold Debates When Clinton ran for re-election

- In 1992 the RNC did NOT Hold Debates When Bush Sr. ran for re-election

- In 1984 the RNC did NOT Hold Debates When Reagan ran for re-election

- In 1980 the DNC did NOT Hold Debates When Carter ran for re-election

While I wouldn't mind seeing candidates debate, to pretend that the DNC is suddenly trampling on Democracy because Biden won't debate in the primary, is simply laughable.

BREAKING: The Texas Senate just passed a bill that would compel every single public school classroom in the state to display a copy of the Ten Commandments. Additionally, a bill was passed to set aside time during the day for prayer and reading the Bible.

You might be thinking "They can't do that."

You might be thinking "That's unconstitutional."

Well it is, but they did it, despite the fact that a Supreme Court verdict back in 1980, Stone v. Graham, determined that it violated the Establishment Clause of the Constitution when Kentucky tried the exact same thing.

Conservative Republicans have been steadily chipping away at the norms and laws that protect our nation's most vulnerable citizens, like how they did away with crucial segment from the Voting Rights Act, and how they just overturned Roe v Wade.

Laws like this will negatively impact upon students who do not share the same religious beliefs as the majority of students, and could even stigmatize them as lesser members of the student body.

Drop a 💙 if you agree religion must be kept out of our public schools.
