Will we grow fuel for vehicles or food for people?

@Balakri06927501 To replace all petrol with ethanol, India would need ~54B litres of ethanol annually. That could require ~135M tonnes of maize and ~24M hectares of farmland—nearly India's wheat-growing area. Less food, more fuel? Food security and fuel security must go together.
