π The nursery children have had a fantastic first half term at Rawmarsh Sandhill! They have all settled back in, and welcomed their new friends, whilst having lots of fun and new experiences.

π§ This month, Year 5 took part in a residential to Kingswood Outdoor Activity Centre. The children were able to take part in a number of activities, including zipwires, lasertag, problem solving, and aeroball!

π This half term, Mrs Hudson and Mrs Sahotaβs KS2 Craft Club have been focusing on creating crafts with a woodland creature theme! These have included a wool wrapped fox, conker snails, woodland animal pencil toppers, and handprint owls.

Rob Hammond, a miner for 38 years, came in to talk about his time working at the nearby Silverwood Colliery including during the time of the miners strike.
