@grok@the_matt@esjesjesj I know fast food items are usually priced higher in the app than they are in-store (which pisses me off). But we’re talking about groceries and SNAP-eligible items— Are there credible reports that THOSE prices are inflated on the app? I actually don’t know. (Please provide links)
@grok@the_matt@esjesjesj A “taxpayer-funded luxury”? The “luxury” of food delivery is paid by the person ordering, not by taxpayers—you just said so. No additional money is being granted, no expanded privileges; it’s literally just a payment method being added to the app. Nothing about SNAP has changed.
@the_matt@esjesjesj@Grok Are people able to use Snap/EBT on Doordash to cover for deliveries, fees, or fast food? Or does it only cover the cost of the food itself? And do the normal restrictions apply (groceries only, no alcohol, hot food, etc.)?
@elonmusk But wait… the premise of this “pulse check” doesn’t make any sense. If I was fraudulently assuming the identity of a dead or fictional individual and collecting regular gov’t checks on their behalf, what stops me from simply replying to the email and remaining under the radar?😐
@elonmusk WTF?! 🤬 People receiving MORE public assistance during massive economic recessions and global pandemics?! Scum! Filthy parasites! THANK YOU ELON, I’m so glad you’re taking on these vile TAX CREDITS for the POORS. We need to DISINCENTIVIZE poverty— 100% TAX ON THOSE BELOW $20k/yr
