9 years ago, the Lakers assembled the greatest summer league roster of all time:
- Brandon Ingram
- Lonzo Ball
- Kyle Kuzma
- Ivica Zubac
- Alex Caruso
- Josh Hart
- Thomas Bryant
AJ Dybantsa: Nobody better than me, I’m the #1 pick
Darryn Peterson: I’m better than AJ and Imma hold it for the rest of my life, I shoulda went #1
Cam Boozer: years down the road, they’ll say I shoulda been #1
Caleb Wilson: I’m a dog. Imma work hard to be the best ever
When a clear goaltend doesn’t get called (or reviewed)
And on the next possession an out-of-bounds call is incorrect and a coach is PLEADING with the refs for a challenge, and they simply ignore him
Then the refs T-up said coach
The integrity of the game comes into question.
Maybe the single most egregiously officiated game I’ve ever seen…
Made this little compilation from last nights Thunder/Spurs game of all the calls that went OKC’s way courtesy of @Rate_the_Refs.
I’m still baffled. Each one is worse than the previous. What is the @NBA doing?
The Spurs have the ball down 98-88
• Refs miss a goaltending call
• Ball goes off Chet’s foot
• They ignore the coach’s challenge request
• SGA gets free throws
• Mitch Johnson is hit with a tech
• Lu Dort and Tony Brothers laughing on the sideline
Us fans deserve better than this smh
Remember when pushoffs weren't legal? (most of NBA history)
Remember the awesome crackdown on unnatural shooting motions for a few months in 2021-22?
Now a defender gets shoved backwards and then basically isn't allowed to contest the shot. Plays like this are bad for the game
Steph Curry is a true superstar. NBA is supposed to protect him, but he must have said no to some kind of ritual because they've treated him like a scrub rookie for a decade.
It'd be unfathomable to NOT call these a foul if it was SGA. None of these were called for Curry. None.
