To boost food security, @IFC_org is working closely with farmers in 8 local government areas (LGAs) in #Kano State, Nigeria in providing essential support through supervisors and field monitors who oversee training, harvest, and post-harvest activities.
Working in 8 LGAs, 2,500+ farmers have benefitted from this project, making a significant impact on local food supply. IFC aims to enhance #agricultural productivity & ensure that communities have access to a stable food supply.

Between 2019 and 2023, #Nigeria's Kaduna, Kano and Jigawa states recorded significant improvements in budget transparency, as measured by the Nigerian States Budget Transparency Index.
