Karl Terry hosted a paint out and BBQ with Wapping Group of Artists and their other halves last September. The BBQ was cancelled because of the heavy rain but Jo saved the day cooking up a great chilli. Many thanks to Karl and Jo.

Final day of the London Plein Air Group @londonpleinairgroup trip to Wales. I was working quite slowly and not making progress. Decide to change tactics and painted fast and furious. Which was a lot more enjoyable.
Newborough Beach ā Day 4, 29th May

Extremely windy day 40mph winds. Normally this would be impossible to paint outside. Found @londonpleinairgroup in a lovely sheltered spot and joined them.

I couldnāt go to Portmeirion with the @londonpleinairgroup . Went to The Cob at Porthmadog . Amazing view of the estuary and mountains. The sun finally came out, quiet and peaceful - idyllic.
Caernarfon Castle ā Day 2, 27th May
The plan was to go to Llyn Ogwen in the morning and Caernarfon Castle in the afternoon. Llyn Ogwen was abandoned because of heavy rain and no cover. So spent all day at Caernarfon Castle. Heavy rain there too. Gave up went to the pub.
