To find a genuine YouTube review for the iPhone 18 Pro that isn't a 15-minute marketing video, look for these points:
🔴 Criticizes not improving the absolute worst minimum focus distance in the tele lens.
🟢 Praises the aperture getting a massive increase and doesn't say something absurd like variable aperture increases the light-gathering capability compared to the 17 Pro.
🔴 Criticizes Apple for gatekeeping the improved image processing pipeline, Pro control, reference image etc. from pushing to older generations (The one that can handle it) with a software update.
🟢 Praises the massive battery bump and decent charging speed improvements compared to the 17 series.
🔴 Criticizes Apple for having the weakest telephoto in the industry.
🟢 Praises Apple for finally putting a decent-sized vapor chamber like everyone else.
🔴 Criticizes Apple for not putting more effort in Pro control, they are very late as well as still very limited compared to even 200$ android phone's Pro mode capability.
🟢 Praises the absolute monster A20 Pro chip is.
🔴 Criticizes Apple for continuing to increase the weight every year (It's getting to a point where it weighs almost the same as the heaviest foldable phones, which is ironically the iPhone Duo)
🔴 Criticizes Apple for not putting any effort into improving the light leakage, ghosting, and lens flare (All three can be fixed with better lens coating).
A good smartphone review, whether iPhone or Android should balance out the positive and negative sides of a phone because no phone is perfect, but unfortunately most big reviewers sound like they are reading from a script written by Apple's marketing team and have no genuine thoughts behind it (which would've obviously shown the lack of improvement and not sugarcoat every lacking).
I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor.

I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS.
I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details.
The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.
100%. I stopped using Airbnb years ago because of things like this or crazy hidden cleaning costs.
Wdym I need to buy a full pack of toilet paper (’cause no store sells per unit) and then carry it over when I leave?
Book hotels, leave the insanity of dealing with this.
Dear Airbnb host, NO ONE TRAVELS WITH THEIR OWN TOILET PAPER!! Providing a spare roll is the bare minimum. Why should I have to contact you at 10pm to ask where it is, only for you to tell me to go to the nearest store? You are getting ZERO stars. Thank you.
First time I ever feel my (not so old but kinda old) iPhone going faster than slower with a major iOS update. @Apple please make it a consistent thing for next releases, it’s fire!
Say hello to the 2027 software updates!
