- $726 MILLION to Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth in 5 awards, includes $108 MILLION (one grant)
→ FY 2022 Refugee Support Services, ends Sept 30, 2025

1. USCCB gets the master contract from HHS, State Dept, etc.
2. USCCB keeps ~5–10% for "national coordination"

Following President Trump's January 2025 executive order suspending the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) and related funding freezes, many federal grants to the USCCB's Migration and Refugee Services (and downstream to Catholic Charities) for new refugee resettlement were halted, terminated, or phased out earlier this year amid ongoing litigation.

Some pre-existing obligations and reimbursements have continued under court orders, but the overall flow of new taxpayer funding for these programs has been dramatically curtailed or stopped.
