#breaking Wreck of Australia’s largest maritime disaster found. WWII ship Montevideo Maru sunk off Philippines in 1942 with approximately 1060 prisoners, both military and civilian, lost. At least 850 Australian service members and 210 civilians from 14 countries were on board
