@jessicritical@Kanis_7 @justicearman I'm not sure how the use of female as a noun is bad. Dictionaries define it as both adjective and noun, and neither definition is related to negative connotations. The only negative is how someone uses it. Are the meaning it in a degrading negative way? If so then it is bad.
@AliciaFurness Does it matter which game is 'better' or more revolutionary? I though being a game designer in a small medium meant it's all about the love of making games. I guess I'm wrong in his perspective. Apparently everything made has to be judged like it's the next DnD or pathfinder.
@blade329@McDerpershy If you want to have weird rapey gross story elements that is up to you, but you have to 100% make sure that those elements are used in a group that is totally 1 billion percent comfortable with it.
@blade329@McDerpershy And to ensure that they understand what kind of game, or themes their players are looking to get out of this. The game master's role isn't to make something they want. It is to create a world and facilitate a story for their players. 2/2
@writes_ashe Going even older if we ignore The Odyssey or Beowulf simply because societal changes in the thousands of years since their creation. They are still masterpieces that defined growth in cultural and are apart of who we are as human beings.
@writes_ashe Previous eras of literature should be held with the high esteem. George Orwell, and J.R.R. Tolkien revolutionized many parts of human civilization and how media works in modern times. I could not imagine how different modern culture would be without authors like them.
