If I thought I could walk into a centre and get him jabbed I'd travel but I fear when we get there they will look him up on the system and say no. Massive drive to boost people when a whole group of eligible kids can't even have their first one. Shambles.

But not mine.I know of two others.All turned 12 since school immunisation team went in.Another I know of had a bday just after my son and could book online. What????

@NHSNW This is still the case....16 days after turning 12. Website says children can have the vaccine from the day they turn 12. Same website says he is not eligible to book through the website, so phone 119. 119 say phone GP. GP says has to be done online. And round we go. Shambles.

@NHSEngland @RichardA Just read your article on 12-15 year olds not getting the vaccine. @bphillipsonMP In the NW England @helenpidd children are being told they're not eligible when trying to book online. Have tried 119 and GP. No answers. No change in the message on the website.

@BolaOwolabi8 @AngusRubinstein @NHSEngland What was the outcome of this please? I keep getting the same message when trying to book online for my 12 year old. He wasn't 12 when the vaccinations were done at school. I can't book online as he 'isn't eligible', 119 same, GP say they can't do anything.
