Proverbs Chapter 15 has a lot to say about our tongues and our ears. Solomon says a wise person speaks truth but does it in a gentle, loving way. The goal is to be helpful. A wise person listens well to grow in knowledge & righteousness. Fools speak rashly & don’t want advice because they think they know it all. I have tried to model after my dad who always spoke wisdom in a kind way and was also a great listener.
