People who are angry with their lives always want others to experience the same thing, even though we all have different paths, and some are clearer than others.
Having a clear head and the test of time to control your anger is such an admirable skill that, if you have not reached that level of headroom, you cannot do it. It is such a golden skill that cannot be taught.
I always say, ‘Do not let strangers access your high emotions’
I will rather pretend to be “slow” or “a fool” than give a stranger the satisfaction of emotional manipulation.
Never let the words of strangers be your shape of perception in life 😊🌷

If your choice kills others, impoverishes others, violates others' human rights, I believe your choice is immoral.
Personal freedom ends where serious harm to others begins.

If you are in danger you can call 999 and pretend you are calling a friend.
I.e
“Hey, are you coming over?” = operator asks “Are you in danger?”
You say “Yeah, bring some food” = yes
You say “Nah, don’t worry” = no
The conversation can start and end wherever you want.
There will be a welfare check to make sure you are okay after.
Stay safe 🫶🏽
‘Ask for Angela’ is a safety scheme that started in the UK in 2016.
Now, it has expanded, and you can ask for Pizza toppings, fake name for a friend
Calling 999 and asking for pizza is a recognised way to signal you’re in danger but can’t speak freely.
The operator does the work, you just need to answer quietly
If you can’t speak at all, just don’t hang up. Silence triggers a welfare check
Please don’t get it confused. Most of what we identify in London’s urban communities as “culture” is derivative of Black diasporic cultures. Don’t discredit us like that.
Guys…I’ve just seen this. I don’t know this girl but I’m supporting! Long story short, she needs to raise enough money to pay for her studies at Harvard…Show some support too 🙏🏾

A reminder that Yves Sakila was killed in Ireland just a few weeks ago. Nobody has been arrested. The family have had to push for second postmortem because the first came back inconclusive.

Cleanliness does not make you a good person. Some of you are unnecessarily cruel to others; you don't know their daily struggles, and all you judge them for is the cleanliness of their home. What is your business? Stay in your house and stop adding to others' life struggles.
You can be clean and mean, cruel and vicious human being.
I am horrified that a car has been deliberately set alight outside the home of the family of Salma Yaqoob, a wonderful prominent anti-racist and peace campaigner in Birmingham.
I hope the police take this shocking incident seriously. Sending my solidarity to Salma & her family.
News from the Black community is more important than ever. When society seeks to erase our experiences, we need our stories told & we need real journalism that holds power to account. I’m doing that at the Community Reporter and it’s free to subscribe👇🏾
