@Qrds1234 I actually have a smart box system on my planter and used Aztec one year but felt it too expensive and too time consuming to do my insecticide that way. I am putting a liquid system on and will be doing generic capture in furrow this coming year.

@Qrds1234 Wow if the insecticide is the only thing that will kill the rootworm why buy the trait. Also I haven’t seen corn borer damage in many years. So above ground traits are not doing much in my area anyway.

@Qrds1234 I used it this year as I didn’t have a liquid system on my planter and I thought it worked quite well for $9/ac it did the job. We allegedly had a very bad year for rw in southern Mn and I had no down corn.

@Qrds1234 TS 201 is what the bio insecticide is called meristem amvac and streamline ag are a few companies that sell it

@Qrds1234 Corn on corn does make it a little more complicated but I know people doing it with non gmo corn. It might be a good idea to do both in furrow insecticide and the BioWake prime talc to give you extra protection for not much more. Just know there are many companies selling that.
