If not, then objetively, the gen 6 games allowed you to capture every pokemon from gens 1-6 thanks to pokemon bank and connectivity between ORAS and XY.

Majority of VC games on 3ds were $5 but gen 1/2 were all $9 dollars because of the transferability.
