@Okeleko Development too interrupted by injuries. Colwill level of box defending from 2nd half of last season was so mature, he’d improved a lot. Hoping for him to somehow comeback and string some 10/10 performances before end of season
These are the kind of moments you ideally want Enzo outside the block more.
Those moments where it’s taking 2/3 passes to find the a player out wide, he does it in one pass.
Or just the composure to find the spare man in that split second before the gap closes up.
@LKCOYB Yeah I replied once saying cucu is not a top player majority of replies is abuse lol.
Not a single reply with actual reasoning for why they disagree 😂😂
@arabian1901@LKCOYB Agreed.
Situations where Cucu was too aggressive and left his position, Levi got better at dealing with them.
Before it usually led to a big chance or goal.
Not saying Cucu is a Dud. Platform him correctly he's definitely an asset. Can't pretend he's perfect though.
@LKCOYB Completely agree, I think the fall off will be similar to Kyle walkers once he started to lose his pace his time at the top level was over.
Don't think there's a rush to sell however, only if we can get a more complete profile as a replacement.
@LKCOYB Because he have Santos, I think caicedo playing in that Enzo box to box role could be interesting.
Everytime he goes forward due to situations in the game, he does something positive pretty much all the time.
Drop Enzo next to Santos our buildup becomes even more progressive
When a player comes from a different league to the Premier League, there’s a distinct difference in:
A) the league being too physically quick for the player so they cannot perform their actions no matter how hard they try (they always appear reactive)
And B) the player having to adjust to the speed of the league psychologically (they can still be pro-active but then the opponent is able to react to them).
This difference between A and B is key to predicting if a player will improve with more time.
@GoldbergCFC@VdykCFC@CFCPys@richylad1994 It's really just about the club getting their 1st Choice, Jacquet is clearly 1st on the shortlist just get him.
Too many times these directors fail/refuse to get their 1st choice by just spending a bit more, that's why we sign so many mid players.
@LKCOYB It feels like we rarely get our 1st choice targets.
That's how we've ended up with so many mid players. Liverpool in that sense are much better they would rather wait for their 1st choice targets than accept going lower and lower on their shortlist
@LKCOYB As soon as I saw Enzo back in that box to box role I was disappointed. When are we ever gonna see him next to caicedo.
I thought the previous games were the blueprint on how he was going to use them. Hopefully it was just one game.
@LKCOYB On cucarella I understand why you say in certain conditions he can play well due to his aggression, but I think Chelsea do need to replace him long term with a complete profile.
On the ball he is limited, he cannot dribble, I've noticed that he opts out from carrying into space
@advancedwinger After reading up and seeing analysis from people I rate, I feel the same as you tbh.
I did the same with maresca when he joined I was actually intrigued by him then.
