@GregLehman I think for some movements you need strength through range, and some you need the ability to transfer force through a stiffer trunk. And you can train one or both, depending on what you need.
Enjoy your posts btw 👌
@GregLehman I’ve been in both camps before (the anti rotation and the trunk needs to move camp), and now I think there is room for both, and it is task dependant. The biggest change for me was learning to box..and the ability to transfer force through the trunk in an isometric fashion.
@RugbyTimes Lack of routine is tough!!

@mboyle1959@EamonnFlanagan % 1RM can obviously be altered depending on what speed you are after. But the above would be the maximum weight you could achieve.
@mboyle1959@EamonnFlanagan 3 sets of 6 (2/2/2 with 15 secs intra set rest between each 2). 3 mins between sets at a max of 87% 1RM.
3 sets of 3 (1/1/1) with 15 secs intra set rest between each 1). 3 mins between sets at a max of 90% 1RM.
@mboyle1959@EamonnFlanagan I find 3 sets is the max, as they are fatiguing. Rest interval 2.5/3 mins and a max of 85% 1RM. Anything higher than 85% and you can’t get through the set. You basically get 9 reps in place of a traditional 5. Just from experience.
