Dear CPCB Team,
I have been continuously raising complaints since 2018 for the development of greenery under the Gokalpuri Flyover. In response to a complaint submitted in 2023, the PWD itself had assured that greenery would be developed at the site by 30.06.2025. However, the expected work has still not been carried out at the site.

Now, the departments are shifting responsibility from one to another. In the recent action taken, the PWD Horticulture Department forwarded the matter stating that the site does not fall under its maintenance jurisdiction.

Development of a green area under the flyover is essential for reducing local air pollution and dust and for improving the overall environmental conditions of the area. I, therefore, request the CPCB to kindly intervene in the matter, determine the responsibility of the concerned agency, particularly the PWD Horticulture Department, and ensure that greenery is developed at the site within a stipulated timeframe. I also request that an Action Taken Report be provided.
