Not another “attacker prints money,” but how about “settlement reverts forever, and the money just sits there”

A dusty EasyAuction fallback, a non-upgradeable settlement contract, and a cursor you can walk off the end of the bid list.

No admin key required, and up to a million of protocol collateral plus whoever was naive enough to bid.

Governance can later clear the internal counter, but it can't unscrew the auction.

Good to keep in mind that unused paths are still live paths if anyone can choose them.
