Came home tonight and the eldest was watching a Maze Runner movie and @quiethandfilms was in it and I asked eldest if he was aware that Mr Esposito’s father was from Napoli, eldest said “No, but it makes sense.” I asked why. He responded “Have you seen his style?”

But now that we are playing @paizo #Pathfinder2e it’s been easy to build out deadly truly challenging encounters. They’ve caught in three combats since we made the switch about a month ago, and the monster levels are so much more accurate than in 5e.

I killed my first player character last night. Almost wiped the whole party.l in fact. But no one was pissed about it, because we set the expectation that they wanted a deadly campaign. When I was DMing 5e I felt it was next to impossible to kill off player characters. #notatpk
