Today the Government of Canada announced a commitment to purchase a future RCAF air demonstration capability. After more than six decades of service 2026 will mark the final season for the CT‑114 Tutor aircraft fleet which has represented Canada with dignity and pride since 1971.
We are incredibly proud of the women and men who, for decades, have represented CAF with pride at airshows across North America and look forward to joining with Canadians to celebrate the team’s rich history, heritage, and excellence in the Tutor fleet's farewell season.
NORAD was pleased to welcome Lieutenant-General Jamie Speiser-Blanchet, Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force and #RCAF Chief Warrant Officer Renee Hansen to headquarters this week.
The visit highlighted the strength of our 🇨🇦🇺🇸 binational partnership and reinforced ongoing coordination between #NORAD and the @RCAF_ARC on shared priorities, from domain awareness to capability modernization efforts. Engagements with senior leaders and subject matter experts underscore how our integrated approach remains essential to defending North America together.
