Billy Murphy (‘07) is going to The Show, as the Houston Astros promote him to asst pitching coach. Murphy, the Astros’ minor league pitching coordinator the past two seasons, will be in the bullpen when the 2021 MLB season begins.

Congratulations to RC Class of 2020 Valedictorian Joseph Kreinberg on being named an NJSIAA 2019-20 Scholar Athlete. Joseph is a 4 year varsity baseball starter, and will be attending Seton Hall University in the Fall.

Matthew has been a four year member of the Roselle Catholic Varsity Baseball program. Matthew is also an avid weight lifter at Roselle Catholic. Matt will be attending Kean University in the Fall to study Biology.

Bunting for a hit is underutilized in summer/high school baseball.

If done correctly (down the line) some players could get another 10-15 hits in a season.

It’s a tough play for a third baseman, not to mention a great way to get you out of a slump!
