Ongoing training at Kazo Health Centre IV! 🩺🔥

Midwives from all Health Centre IIIs and IVs across Kazo District are undergoing hands-on training in Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) management—strengthening the skills needed to respond effectively to one of the major causes of maternal deaths.

Organized by NMAU and LAMRN, with support from The Rotary Foundation, this is about turning knowledge into life-saving action.

Stronger skills. Safer mothers. Better outcomes. 💙

[Rotary Club of Bwebajja @RcBwebajja]

The training officially started on 22nd September! 🩺

We are equipping midwives with hands-on skills in Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC), strengthening their ability to respond to critical situations and provide safer care for mothers and newborns.

This Rotary project will reach 120 midwives across 51 health facilities in Kabarole, Isingiro, Kazo and Wakiso.

Investing in midwives is investing in healthier mothers, safer births and stronger communities.

The DG addresses the Club Assembly, urging RC Bwebajja to show up in big numbers—as a big club, our presence should reflect our strength. He calls on members to attend the Africa Zone Institute and DCA in large numbers, and to support Rotaractors to participate in RYLA. “Let our numbers speak through our presence!” 🤝
