A wonderful evening of Shakespeare at Garrick’s Temple to Shakespeare. Thank you to all those who came along to watch and a special well done to the students whose hard work and dedication really paid off! They were all fantastic ambassadors for the school!

Today was our first ‘Year 7 Music Mixer’. Over 150 pupils got the opportunity to hear, play and learn about a wide range of instruments. Huge thanks to our local musicians and peripatetic teachers, for giving up their time and expertise for a such a valuable event! 🎶

UPDATE: We had another plane parked at our stand so we’ve been stuck on the runway. They have now moved so we’ll hopefully be disembarking and going through security and baggage reclaim.

We are on the plane but won’t be leaving until at least 19:38 (18:38 GMT) Our pilot has informed us that we will be arriving at around 21:15 1/2

We have boarded the plane and we are waiting to taxi to the runway. Our estimated time of departure is: 19:30 (18:30 GMT) so hopefully we’ll be off soon! ��

UPDATE: Students have received a voucher for food and drink and were still waiting to board. Estimated departure is still 17:45 GMT but we’re not too hopeful that this will happen…

UPDATE: We are through passport control and currently waiting to hear what our new departure time will be. Apparently the airspace over Europe is very busy and they’re trying to find us a new slot. The estimated delay is currently 1.5 hours 🫣

Some of our students have an interest in transport so we took them over to Keleti Pályaudvar station to see some of the older trains on the Hungarian transport network. 📸

A trip to St Stephen’s Basilica today. Such an amazing place and a real honour to be afforded the privilege to perform there. Tonight we’re off on our Danube cruise and out for dinner.
