Hungary is building a new diesel and gasoline pipeline with Slovakia to directly connect our refineries in Bratislava and Százhalombatta.

We signed the agreement today with Economy Minister Denisa Saková on the 127-kilometer pipeline, which will transport up to 1.5 million tonnes of diesel and gasoline annually and is scheduled to be completed in the first half of next year.

This direct link will better protect Hungary and Slovakia from disruptions caused by wars, Brussels’ failed energy policy, and the blackmail we are currently facing from Ukraine.
