I regularly pull up to my local @Walgreens at 1497 Canton Mart Rd. Jackson, MS only to be greeted by this sign. It’s so frustrating. Why even have a drive-through?
@johnpavlovitz On my way to RDU to get out the vote in NC! Former UMC clergy here. Bow work for the Human Rights Camapain. I enjoy your work and appreciate your advocacy.
HB 1125 is an outrageous attack on LGBTQ+ Mississippians and their families. Signing this bill on Tuesday was nothing more than an attempt by @tatereeves to inflate his failing poll numbers ahead of a difficult reelection campaign all at the expense of vulnerable kids. #shameful
An anti-trans GOP lawmaker in Mississippi said he recently spoke to a plastic surgeon about gender-affirming surgery on children, but that same surgeon came forward to say that this literally never happened.
Joey Fillingane just got caught lying on the Mississippi Senate floor.
I don't tweet very much but want to share this important reporting from @mintamolly calling out the lies and misinformation @DelbertHosemann@JoeyFillingane and others relied on in passing this dangerous bill impacting trans youth.

@jallen1985 You’re right. The anti-trans sports ban was passed in 2021. They didn’t pass anything like that in 2022. In fact, we killed all the bills which targeted trans kids in both chambers.
@glpresley Hey Lance, you may not be aware but the great folks at Asbury UMC hosted our Broadmeadow Bibles and Basketball group several years ago on a educational trip to DC. It was a wonderful experience and such a gracious act of hospitality.

@SpencerMRitchie Hi Spencer, hope you’re well. This kind of talking point is getting tired and useless. I’m a person of faith and this president and his loyalists have alienated me a d many people of faith like me with his attacks on immigrants, healthcare, LGBTQ people, and so many more.
@criticalcarema1 @e75_cris @tatereeves The Mississippi Capitol or “the New Capitol” opened in 1903. The Civil War took place occurred between 1861 and 1865. And how does a flag which includes a symbol of rebellion against the country “support America?” Either way, bring it down!
