The Hon. Minister Peya Mushulenga had a consultation visited to Hardap Region w.r.t. achievements and challenges on developmental projects. A joint presentation of all LAs, TCs, Municipality & Regional Council was done by the Chairperson. Deliberations was realy fruitful.

Hardap Regional Council nominated its Chairperson and Management Committee members for the next two and a half years term. The proceedings was done today at the Magistrates Court whereby the nominations was accepted and endorsed.

Regional Cleaning up campaign held today in Mariental. The Hon. Minister of Education Arts and Culture Katrina Hanse Himarwa and Hon. Deputy Minister of Land Reform Priscilla Beukes graced us with their presence, both daughters of Hardap Region. Community turn-up in huge numbers.

Gibeon Constituency and Klein Aub settlement hard at work cleaning their areas in preparation for the national clean up campaign on 5th May in Rehoboth. Advance cleaning started on monday in Maltahohe, 7th May. Next cleaning point is in Kriess on this Friday, 11 May 18.

Aranos constituency's belated 28 Independence celebrations graced by Hon. Minister Kameeta of Poverty and Eradication ministry. Community came up in huge numbers and cultural performance was great.

Hon Minister of Education, Arts and Culture visited Hardap region and had fruitful consultations with the Regional Leadership, schools principals and staff members of both education and council. Presentations were done.
