I would like to know where Chairman Powell got the 2% target he has for ‘good’ inflation. Who benefits, who loses? Who picked 2%? Could you explain this in a column, or have you already. Saying, ‘We just follow the data.’ is bogus if setting 2% as a target has loaded the process.
