On Thursday, September 17th, the St. Stephen RCMP joined staff from the Real Atlantic Superstore and the local food bank to host a Cram-a-Cruiser event in #StStephen.

In just four hours, the community donated $711.50 and 621 pounds of food in support of local families in need.

He was remanded into custody. On September 18, 2026, he reappeared in court, however the matter was adjourned and he will remain in custody until  September 24, 2026, for Virtual Bail Court.

Update, September 18, 2026: On September 17, 2026, the youth appeared in Moncton Provincial Court via tele-remand and was charged with one count of assaulting a police officer with a weapon and one count of possession of a weapon to commit an indictable offence.

A ticket of $604.50 was issued, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days at the owner's expense.
