We need to keep the humanity aspect in our distance learning. Make sure we engage with students on a personal level. With teachers. Make it fun; make sure they are supported, but know it’s okay to make mistakes #ZAedu
Give people the benefit of the doubt. You won’t regret it.
In my experience, more times than not, my assumption was wrong, or there was more to the story that I didn’t know.
Bonus: Giving others the benefit of the doubt often propels a #relationship.

What do you do with a couple of days off from school? Mrs Ritchie challenged her students I. A STEM challenge. They built towers to see how much they could hold or took a box and made something useful out of it. These were optional activities and we are all so proud of them!!
Our sincere thanks and best wishes to Corporation Treasurer Sue Oakley who retired today from her role at Concord Community Schools. Sue, you will be missed! #ConcordPride#WorkplaceFamily
Based on recent events, some of our students will come to #school wondering if they will be looked down upon, subjected to hateful rhetoric, or alienated for their differences.
Be loud and clear that they will be loved and that anything otherwise will not be tolerated.
