We had a fabulous day at Circus Ferrel today. Here a little snippet of the children in the circus skills workshop. Some fabulous cooperation in passing their spinning plates.
We met a Victorian time traveller who told us about going to the seaside in the 1900s. We had a penny lick, tried on bathing costumes, and found out about bathing costumes.
Thank you to our visitors today who came to teach the children all about Chinese New Year. The children made and ate dumplings, wrote their names in Chinese, learned about the Chinese zodiac, and did some dragon dancing.
It was lovely welcoming the children back today. Here's a little throwback to a few of the lovely things that happened before Christmas: Book at Bedtime, Christmas jumper day, and our visit from Santa.
It was a fabulous last day at Forest School for this term. We worked together to collect natural items to make a Christmas tree. We admired our handiwork as we sang "Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree"
