There is a forest in China made of stone.
The Stone Forest (Shilin) in Yunnan province is an extraordinary landscape where thousands of towering limestone pillars rise from the ground like a petrified woodland, some reaching heights of 20 to 50 meters.
Approximately 270 million years ago, this area was a shallow tropical seabed where thick layers of limestone formed from marine life. Tectonic uplift later exposed the rock, and over millions of years, mildly acidic rainwater carved the stone through a slow dissolution process known as karstification.
The result is one of the world’s most spectacular examples of pinnacle karst topography a surreal “forest” of jagged, majestic stone formations
The Old Bailey trial of the three men accused of arson attacks on Keir Starmer’s former homes & car started late April 2026 and was expected to finish by the end of May. If it has now concluded, why has there been no public announcement of any verdict?
This is a man-made tragedy all down to energy policies that have pushed prices higher in search of a carbon ambition at home and simply pushing businesses to the wall.
It's the 8th of June. JUNE.
Take a look outside the window.
15 degrees. Raining. Cake of grey cloud.
Imagine the level of brainwashing involved in convincing people the planet is burning.
Further to what I wrote in this piece Trevor Phillips has since made two really excellent points:
1. Starmer’s comments about George Floyd were made even BEFORE the trial had taken place. This is fascinating - by comparison JD Vance waited until after the the conviction and sentencing. Should Starmer - the lawyer and Mr Proper Process - not have known better than to risk prejudicing the George Floyd/Derek Chauvin trial?
2. Lammy used THE VERY SAME WORDS as Vance - defending “righteous anger” - in commenting on George Floyd. And yet Lammy and co have the audacity to hypocritically criticise Vance for daring to give this opinion

Electrical issue delay Tata Steel's £1.25bn new electric arc furnace in Port Talbot
First Tata blame electric grid connectivity
Then I fear Tata will blame reliability & price of electricity
Serious danger new furnace never opens & jobs not created https://t.co/liEf8M5BcN
This is the strongest Lammy could come up with, “we were in opposition”.
Pathetic, it’s clear that Lammy knows full well it’s hypocritical to criticise JD Vance for speaking on Henry Nowak when Starmer did the same for George Floyd.
Aberdeen residents can see first hand the damage the Labour nutters are inflicting on the economy. Labour’s North Sea drilling ban is indeed economic madness. BP is likely leaving Aberdeen & no doubt other oil companies who can’t survive in the UK under mad Labour will follow.
@LiamHalligan Therein goes a lesson in economic literacy from @LiamHalligan
Britain has over 5m family & small businesses, most are now struggling to survive. Without them there will be no growth and without growth there can only be decline.
Where will welfare benefits come from then?
Scotland’s second match at Mexico 86 came on 8th June in Querétaro against the mighty West Germans.
When Gordon Strachan produced a lovely finish to round off a polished move, hopes were briefly high.
Unfortunately, the scores were level within five minutes, and the Germans went on to win 2–1.
That proved to be Scotland’s final goal of the tournament as a goalless draw with Uruguay sealed their exit.
