We've had an incredible start to the new year!
If your child comes home with a shiny heart sticker, be sure to ask them about the kindness they shared at school. It's wonderful to see everyone working together to make kindness a part of our everyday lives. Thank you to everyone
Richard Coates Football talent shines through yet again! Nail-biting penalty shootouts in both the semis & finals. Unfortunately, the final penalty didn't go our way, but what an incredible team unmatchable! We are so proud! Thanks to NUF for organising such a well run event!
Looking for Reception places Sept 24? Come & meet us & see how we help children to find their own way to Shine!

Wow, what an amazing team performance by the Richard Coates U11 Girls Football team! A showcase of incredible talent, unbeaten throughout the group stages to reach the final. They were narrowly defeated by a last-minute goal, their efforts were truly commendable.#Teamwork#Talent
We have our living eggs project underway in school and year 3 set up an i pad to record the last 3 eggs left to hatch! So far we have 10 chicks hatched!

This morning in English, Year 5 have been writing their own poems. Children had great fun finding rhyming words and repeating the word 'Jolly'! We took inspiration from Charles Causley to create fantastic, humorous poems! Who knew we had some great poets in Pine Class!
Year 6 were invited by Northumberland National Park to take part in fieldwork linked to protecting nature and wildlife. They used lots of equipment and learned about biodiversity and why it is important. They really enjoyed the experience...even though it was a little bit chilly!
