Today we have just announced our plans for Opera training at the RCS from 2025. This time last week we had a masterclass with RCS alumna Karen Cargill. Our next is on Dec 1st with @susanbu1 . Accompanied by #CameronBurns and with #charlottebateman as well as @philipjwopera

@ScottishOpera 3/3. This rare opportunity for emerging singers to perform with a national company as part of their studies is the final stage of a programme of intensive learning and teaching at RCS, supported by Scottish Opera from the recruitment phase to the final performances.

@ScottishOpera 2/3. Students will perform with @ScottishOpera in Glasgow + Edinburgh as a culmination of their studies. The Diploma is due to launch Sept 2025, with applications open from Jul 2024. It'll create a bespoke learning/performance environment required by contemporary singers.
