and another is testing whether the level of salts in rehydration salts is correct by carrying out electrical conductivity testing ⚡️. They are all really enjoying having ownership over their own work and excited to see the results. Here are a few pictures of their work so far…
This term our yr 7 & 8 Scientists are working towards their first Crest Award. Some groups are working out the density of coins to test their identity 🪙, some are making adapted games controllers 🎮, we have 2 groups making and testing the different ingredients in bath bombs 🛁

Today we took two groups of Yr. 8 students to take part in the Faraday challenge at Royal Liberty school. They competed against students from @Royallib and @Drapersacademy.
All the students done amazingly well and a great time was had by all. Well done to everyone who took part.
