Belarsians are mixture of those balts with slavic tribes. One of example of this is Jahajła who mother was from Tver.

@Publius_Libon @deputinifier @Arannatar Belarusian and Ukrainians are quite different. Belarusians are mostly mixture of balts who lived there and some slavic tribes who came there. So yeah those balts adopted slavic language and made it their primary language because Ruthenia (Unkraine) was more advanced in those days

Belarusian worshipped Perun or Perkunas. Pagan traditions are still alive in Belarus. And a lot of elements of totem culture are still there 😉

@deputinifier @Arannatar Actually yes. To me it sounds like a typical name of village in Belarus. Belarusian language was formed by balts speaking slavic language.
