@HumanistQuaker@PTSPentax Not sure anyone will read this, as it is very long. But here is my genuine experience. The Church is True. Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. I Pray that whoever reads this will have a greater desire to come unto Christ, and be perfected in him.
Lewis Walker has taken all of the momentum of Jernaro Gilford's recruiting at BYU and kept it rolling. Ryan Wooten and Demichael Burks are excellent CB additions for BYU this class... and Walker ain't done yet!
@JoshPateCFB I believe it will be more beneficial to make less money in these conferences, but with higher levels of success, than it will to make a ton of TV money but be bottom half of the conference programs in the BIG10 or SEC. (Rutgers, Minnesota, Mississippi state, Arkansas)
@JoshPateCFB If these teams capitalize these next few years, they could cement their places in their respective conferences going forward. Specifically due to boosted confidence and excitement in their respective programs and the success levels these teams could have.
Just passed a young adult at Costco who was shopping with his girlfriend/wife.
He had picked up a heavily discounted golf bag.
I could see his girl was not impressed.
So, I said, "Wow, incredible deal, too good to pass up."
You should have seen the smile on his face.
This missionary is a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
How many of you would be able to handle this situation as he did?
If this were my son, I would be so proud of him.
Well done, Elder, well done.
I’m just gonna come out and say it.
I don’t give a flying flip (excuse my use of such vile language) if any other person thinks I’m a Christian or not.
I know I’m a follower of Jesus Christ.
God knows I’m a follower of Jesus Christ.
That’s all that matters.
A member of a former ward of mine had Down Syndrome. I remember when he became a priest and wanted to bless the sacrament. His dad and the bishop worked a ton with him until he could do it unassisted.
The first time he blessed the sacrament on his own, it was not perfect, but there was not a dry eye in the chapel. To this day, I have never seen anyone smile bigger than he did when he finished and stood up. It was one of the most profoundly spiritual experiences of my life, to feel the love of the Savior for him, and for me, through his simple act of service. I’ll never forget it.
After high school, he wanted to serve a mission. He was called as a service missionary. He worked in a Bishop’s Storehouse.
I have never met anyone more excited and proud to wear his name tag. The world needs more people like him. He radiates pure joy wherever he goes.
